What we do with your data.

Short version: we keep almost nothing about you, we don't sell anything to anyone, and the only personal data we store is the email address you give us when you subscribe to the newsletter – which you can delete with one click whenever you want.
What we collect
Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter. That's it. We use a third-party newsletter service (Buttondown or similar) to send the emails; their privacy policy applies to that data too.
Anonymous analytics. We use a privacy-respecting analytics service (Plausible) that tells us how many people read which articles, but doesn't track you across the internet, doesn't use cookies, and doesn't store your IP address.
Anything you send us. If you email us or use the contact form, we keep the message so we can reply. We don't share it with anyone.
What we don't collect
- Your name (unless you give it to us in an email)
- Your location, beyond a country-level analytics aggregate
- Your browsing history
- Anything via cookies – we don't set any
- Anything that could identify you personally
Affiliate links
Some of our articles include affiliate links, where we may earn a small commission if you buy something through them. These are always disclosed clearly at the top of the article. Affiliate clicks may set a cookie from the merchant (Amazon, etc.) – that's their cookie, not ours.
Children
This site is for adults planning weddings. We don't knowingly collect any data from anyone under 18. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
You can email us at any time to ask what we know about you, to request a copy of it, or to have it deleted. We'll respond within a few days.
For newsletter unsubscribes, every email has a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. That's the fastest way.
Changes to this policy
If we change this, we'll update the date at the top. For any substantive change we'll also email subscribers a heads-up.
